With restrictions lifted, a non-profit organization is trying to engage more children.
A Burnaby non-profit dance studio that caters to children is offering a free eight-week session to educate people about their programs.
Dance Imagination is a modern dance company for young people. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, they have not been able to run any classes so far.
“We are offering an 8-class session for dancers interested in trying out our program,” a press release read.
Full-year programs will resume in September. Classes will begin April 25.
“Please let us know if you are interested in participating by registering by email (creativedance@shaw.ca), phone or text (604-818-4318) so that we have an idea of the number of dancers who will be at the dance this session,” a statement read. “New members are always welcome.”
